School aims –

 

  • To be a friendly, family focused, caring school that is welcoming to all.
  • To provide a high quality, creative and exciting curriculum that inspires and challenges children so they can reach their full potential.
  • To develop the whole child by providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment built on trust and where all children become confident, active and independent, lifelong learners.
  • To uphold Christian values and encourage each pupil to flourish as an individual.
  • For pupils to gain high self-esteem, moral values and aspiration and be equipped to face an ever-changing world.  

 

The school has adopted a Safeguarding Policy, which strictly adheres to current guidelines on protecting the welfare and safety of all the children under our care and meets the guidelines set by the local authority. A copy of this policy is available from the school office. We follow the recommended procedures where there may be issues regarding a child’s welfare and safety. Where necessary, it is our legal duty to assist other agencies with Child Protection/Safeguarding enquiries. Our Senior Designated Safeguarding Officer is Mrs Beverley Derrett, the Headteacher, Mrs Caroline Perkins, Ms Sharon Lockhart and Mrs Jenny Cocksedge are the school’s Alternative Safeguarding Officers and our Safeguarding Governor is Mrs Rebecca Wallis.
